Steve Gutierrez, a villager who lives on the north finish of Corrales, has a novel and essential perspective on the hashish situation, having been concerned within the making of ordinance 18-002. This laws, accredited in 2018,  disallowed the expansion of hashish in Corrales residential areas, these zoned A-1, A-2, and H-1.

Corrales zoning is without doubt one of the difficulties the Council should cope with, since there aren’t any areas within the village which might be zoned as purely residential. In different communities, the residential “R” zone designation protects residents from having industrial exercise of their neighborhoods. In Corrales, all properties have conflated residential designations with agricultural, historic or industrial designations.  Zone “A-1” refers to a chunk of land that’s one agricultural-use acre, and this designation covers the overwhelming majority of Corrales. “A-2” is a 2-acre agricultural plot. Properties zoned “H” are historic websites.
