When troopers arrived, they discovered Danny Helmick, 42, of Linn, outdoors the house. He had an energetic home violence protecting order, which had not been served but towards a resident of the house, troopers stated.

Troopers served Helmick the DVPO, and because the doc acknowledged that Helmick was in possession of a firearm, troopers requested for permission to look his motorbike, to which he consented. During that point, Helmick stated “there was a little bit of weed in his lunch pale(sic),” in line with the criticism.

When police searched the lunch pail, they discovered 30 grams of presumed marijuana, in addition to a set of digital scales, $67 in money and three small baggage, troopers stated.

At that point, Helmick instructed deputies “he had purchased 2 ounces of marijuana a couple of weeks prior,” in line with the criticism.

Helmick has been charged with possession with intent to ship marijuana. He is being held in Central Regional Jail, with bail set at $10,000.
