Neither model has gained a transparent higher hand amongst lawmakers, WPRI reported.
But members of the state Senate Finance Committee met Wednesday to debate the matter and to start hammering out particulars for a invoice to legalize adult-use marijuana in 2021.
And the incoming chair of the committee, Sen. Ryan Pearson, informed reporters he absolutely expects the problem to come up in January when the Legislature convenes.
