GEORGE TOWN, Nov 15 — Police busted a drug trafficking syndicate with worldwide hyperlinks following the arrest of 12 people and the seizure of 865.7 kilogrammes of cannabis worth RM2.16 million in a collection of raids carried out in Penang and Kedah, on Friday.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) director Datuk Razarudin Husain mentioned police launched the particular operations from 12.15am to six.30am and raided eight places in two states earlier than detaining 12 people, together with three Bangladeshi males and a Loatian girl, aged 22 to 58.
