SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Employees at Authentic 909, a hashish dispensary in the City of San Bernardino, voted on Saturday to ratify a labor settlement with UFCW Local 1167, making it the primary unionized hashish store in the Inland Empire.
The retailer, positioned at 1181 South E St., employs about 30 individuals. These employees will now be part of 1000’s of different hashish employees throughout the nation who’re members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
UFCW Local 1167 President Joe Duffle stated the union and the dispensary’s proprietor, Nibble This, LLC, negotiated the brand new contract with mutual recognition that “the cannabis industry is growing and workers want dignity and deserve respect on the job.”
