At a time when customers are in search of assist Black-owned companies, former NBA all-star Shawn Kemp is opening Seattle’s first Black-owned hashish retailer.

He’s a co-owner and his title is actually the shop’s title. But some have questioned whether or not his 10% possession stake qualifies as “Black-owned.”
