CAZADERO (CBS SF) – A person has pleaded responsible to environmental violations in reference to a hashish rising operation on his property in western Sonoma County, prosecutors stated.

According to the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office, 37-year-old Michael Silva pleaded responsible to 3 felony fees, together with two misdemeanors associated to the illegal cultivation of hashish earlier this month.

Prosecutors stated Silva had been rising 1,450 hashish vegetation at his property within the hills above Cazadero when the California Department of Fish and Wildlife found the unpermitted marijuana rising operation in September of 2019.

A search warrant revealed Silva’s operation was diverting water with out permits and engaged in unpermitted development work with out finest administration practices that may lead to water air pollution if not corrected, based on the DA.
