OCA POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE  Letter from the Co-Chairs

Below you’ll discover our endorsements for this election cycle. As all of us start to obtain our ballots in the mail over the coming days (ballots are mailed out October 15-20) we hope our endorsements will assist inform your voting selections.

The course of that has led to those endorsements has been strong, thorough, and all volunteer pushed by members of Oregon’s hashish neighborhood. Our PAC Board consists of eight members. After assessing dozens of electoral contests throughout the state we invited choose candidates to interview with our PAC Board.

Throughout the many, many hours of thoughtfully carried out interviews we requested candidates, some searching for reelection and a few searching for elected workplace for the first time, questions on the subjects of Social and Racial Justice, Enforcement Reform, Oregon Aid and Support, Robberies, amongst others. After all the interviews have been full the PAC Board reconvened, mentioned the interviews, and voted on every of the candidates. We then referred our suggestions to the bigger Oregon Cannabis Association Board of Directors the place they voted to simply accept our advisable slate of candidates and thus issued the beneath endorsements.

The objective of the Oregon Cannabis Association PAC (OCA PAC) is to coach and elect a majority of candidates throughout Oregon who will work to assist a good and responsibly regulated hashish enterprise neighborhood. Each election cycle the OCA PAC interviews key statewide, native, and legislative candidates and difficulty endorsements. We then promote these endorsements to our membership and supply marketing campaign assist in the type of in-kind strategic help, message coaching, in addition to direct monetary contributions to campaigns.
