DENVER (AP) — Gov. Jared Polis has issued pardons to individuals convicted in state courts of possessing one ounce or much less of marijuana by means of 2012, the 12 months voters accepted leisure marijuana legalization in Colorado.
The pardons, issued by executive order, don’t apply to convictions in municipal courts or in different states.
Polis signed into regulation in June legislation authorizing him to grant pardons for individuals convicted of possessing as much as two ounces of marijuana–the present authorized restrict for medical marijuana possession.
