CRYSTAL TOWNSHIP — The church bells could have been ringing out “Ode To Joy,” however one resident was decidedly not stuffed with pleasure as he walked away from Wednesday’s Crystal Township Board assembly.
Last week, the township board held a particular assembly to go over a licensing application that Jim Chandler submitted in hopes to flip the Crystal Clean Laundromat constructing at 102 Main St. right into a medical marijuana dispensary.
During Wednesday’s assembly, the board unanimously voted to defer granting the application in the meanwhile due to some concerns with Chandler’s website plans.
Before making a choice, board members met with Bloom Sluggett lawyer David Eberle for roughly 25 minutes Wednesday to focus on the lawyer’s opinion concerning the marijuana licensing application and modification of the marijuana application and licensing guidelines.
