Two medical marijuana companies in Farmington, Maine, were raided by brokers from the FBI, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the native U.S. lawyer’s workplace.
Narrow Gauge Distributors and The Homegrown Connection had been focused within the Tuesday raids, throughout which brokers piled marijuana crops exterior one of many places, the Bangor Daily News reported.
It is unclear whether or not anybody was arrested or if fees have been filed.
An FBI spokesperson instructed the newspaper with out elaborating that “several” places within the state had been tied to the investigation.

The two are related by Luke Sirois, who owns Homegrown Connection and is the registered agent for Narrow Gauge.
According to the Lewiston Sun Journal, Farmington officers approved both companies for MMJ enterprise licenses in August 2019. The license functions had been submitted by Sirois.
