One of Bend’s unique pot outlets is in bother with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission for misusing a medical marijuana card to create reductions for workers.
Cannabend LLC, this week negotiated a settlement to pay fines totaling $11,650 for the unlawful transactions, in accordance to Lizette Coppinger, a co-owner of the enterprise.
The Oregon Medical Marijuana Program card numbers, which reduce taxes from sale of marijuana merchandise, had been found throughout an inspection of the premises by OLCC workers.
The numbers had been on a card that was taped to the underside of a keyboard on the level of sale. The violations might have price Cannabend its working license.
