New Mexico’s largest medical marijuana firm is suing the state over new MMJ rules it calls “arbitrary and capricious.”

According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, Ultra Health, based mostly in Bernalillo, is difficult the state health department over a number of new rules, together with:

  • Strict testing necessities for pesticides, heavy metals and microbials.
  • Regulations regarding hemp cultivation and extracts.
  • Labeling necessities.
  • Criteria about license suspensions or revocations.

Ultra Health CEO and President Duke Rodriguez has been profitable in a number of different lawsuits towards the health department over different medical cannabis rules.
