Oklahoma medical marijuana regulators are administering laboratory testing after a three-month grace interval to make sure sufficient licensed labs are in place amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The necessary testing necessities apply to all marijuana merchandise offered by a grower or processor.

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority lists 21 licensed labs throughout the state for a market that the brand new Marijuana Business Factbook initiatives will attain $700 million-$860 million in gross sales this 12 months.

Sales in 2019 have been estimated at $345 million.

The enforcement of the testing requirement, explained in this video, comes after the state issued its first product recall in May after which extended that recall in late June.

A processor or grower is required to retain check outcomes and associated information for a minimum of two years.

A medical marijuana dispensary buyer might request to see the check information, or what known as a certificates of research, to make sure the standard and efficiency of the product being bought matches the label.
